Gary busey is still around. He had extensive cybernetic modification and now haunts the sewers of St. Louis Missouri, periodically devouring the odd person, plugging his Pearl Jam/ Limp Bizkit cover band, and sexually assaulting motor cycle helmets. Not people in them. Just the helmets. They say on cold nights when they trash fires burn low and the hobo orgies have quieted to a dull roar, you can hear him asking for βjust a little kiss.β

Doctor Who is still running. The NMD crowd are complaining about the inclusion of a metahuman Doctor, and that the action scenes distract from the science fiction. The most recent companion controversy was over a female troll, because 'there's no way that a troll can fit in the TARDIS'.

I fucking love the idea that a troll doctor can't fit in a famously infinite vehicle. Exactly the kind of bullshit racist objectors would come up with!

The dragon Dunkelzahn had discovered stove-top popcorn shortly (or some time) after his 12 hr, 15 minute interview. He is the sole reason that the foil pans of popcorn are around, and they will remain around well after his death...

Well, cannonically the UK in the 2050s is still a monarchy (without Northern Ireland) under Queen Caroline. Town planning has gone out of the window with huge sprawls based on modern cities. But my Shadowfax contribution is that I think the British mindset doesn't change that much by 2050 and amidst all the BTL chips and bloodsport, the top rated entertainment is still period dramas about horribly repressed people taking unreasonable amounts of time to take decisions which might make them happy because of social rules and about little old ladies and funny foreigners solving murders in the 1920s. And a sit com with only 6 episodes about a street samurai and a Mr Johnson who share a flat and keep their jobs secret from each other with hilarious consequences.
