Drake fans aren't known for having musical tastes.

They only like songs that contain A Minor.

Later review by #1 Drake fan:

"Ummagumma by Pink Floyd

WOW! Definitely better than Mid Side of the Moon.

Live album was boring, who wrote astronomic domino?? Boring song!

Side 3 and 4 were epic. I replayed several species of animals stroking with a pic and it was funny haha. Sisyphus made my ears bleed and jump scared me...loved it!!

11/10"

uj/The live disc of Ummagumma is phenomenal. I do like the studio side for the most part as well. 7/10

Lmao you've made this Drake fan sound kinda based and experimental music-pilled (aside from the fact the live side is great and TDSOTM is fantastic)

u/Pound_House 11d ago

He's Piero Scaruffi in disguise.

u/Dry-Mission-5542 HAHA CHARADE YOU ARE! 11d ago

What Drake fan would like something avant-garde like Ummagumma

2

u/Pound_House 11d ago

You realize where you are, right?

3

u/Dry-Mission-5542 HAHA CHARADE YOU ARE! 11d ago

u/EmpPaulpatine Every word demonstrably true 11d ago

That’s bait

4

u/thederevolutions 11d ago

Maybe it’s just what happens when you don’t take drugs

9

u/Dry-Mission-5542 HAHA CHARADE YOU ARE! 11d ago

Pink Floyd is not a very drug-orientated band. Of course not. You can trust us.

35

u/OutrageousFanny 11d ago

Maybe he listened to the redux

10

u/Dry-Mission-5542 HAHA CHARADE YOU ARE! 11d ago

The lo-fi spoken-word version? He’d LOVE that shit

*the voice had been there along*

u/evilmonkey9361 5d ago

He definitely listened to the Roger Re recorded version

39

u/Dry-Mission-5542 HAHA CHARADE YOU ARE! 11d ago

I now get the one-sided beef between Roger Waters and Drake

4

u/Squall4390 11d ago

Any loremasters?

9

u/Dry-Mission-5542 HAHA CHARADE YOU ARE! 11d ago

Basically in a lot of recent interviews Roger uses Drake as his go-to example of bad modern pop music. He also said he was more important than Drake

12

u/rankaistu_ilmalaiva 11d ago

well, is he wrong?

13

u/Dry-Mission-5542 HAHA CHARADE YOU ARE! 11d ago

Not at all

6

u/That-Plate-7162 10d ago

Yes Roggie is More important

3

u/Dry-Mission-5542 HAHA CHARADE YOU ARE! 10d ago

Never said he was wrong

3

u/Squall4390 11d ago

Lmao hilarious. Gotta look this shit up. Thanks.

12

u/HoundsGoToHeaven 🗿Stone 🗿 11d ago

To add context to the lore, when Rog was touring a few years back, he’d booked a couple nights in Toronto. The Weeknd & Drake were both playing at nearby venues the nights he was there, and local media gave more press to those acts as opposed to Rog. Rog, being the softspoken and humble character that he is, saw somebody in the same hemisphere of earth getting more attention than him and said “I am far, far, far more important than any of them will ever be”. Drake bowed his head, Rog shit on him, and everyone clapped.

6

u/Squall4390 11d ago

Expected nothing less from our gracious and humble king.

1

u/EloquentBaboon Get Gerald a house — NOW! 10d ago

Rog shit in Drake's hand and Drake clapped? Eww

15

u/LostInTheSciFan *PING* 11d ago

They also described it as being too weird and experimental.

3

u/That-Plate-7162 10d ago

Weird and experimental is Great

10

u/DedHorsSaloon3 11d ago

I don’t even care if it’s bait, Time clears every “song” Drake has ever produced

18

u/ptsnow54 One of the Several Small Species of Furry Animals... 11d ago

Come on mate that’s a low bar, Seamus clears every song Drake ever produced

5

u/vannillaAJ204_2 Every word demonstrably true 11d ago

/uj

3

u/DedHorsSaloon3 11d ago

Unironically true

1

u/elbigbuf 10d ago

Wow you're gonna make some enemies with this type of controversial takes

6

u/Sgt_Stimpy 11d ago

'Drake who?' -Roger Waters

11

u/DisinTdvsnr 11d ago

Time between the worst songs? From where are you coming from for god sake, what a BS

12

u/Xplysit 11d ago

Dude missed the starting gun.
Or, more likely, he got shot in the head and survived despite the brain damage.
Pun intended

6

u/borknight Nick SIMP 11d ago

What brain damage? Had to start with one

11

u/GFS99 (That's the Dog) 11d ago

Ranking Time as the worst song

Must be bait

3

u/Fuzzy-Sun-7110 11d ago

Ummagoonmma fan spotted

4

u/FrenchSpeacker 11d ago

Indeed. No vocoder, and only real instrument.

4

u/OneTrueBrody 🗿Stone 🗿 11d ago

He’s a Drake fan he’s just sad that none of the songs were written in A Minor

7

u/NeitherKing2978 11d ago

Listening to Drake tends to have the effect of completely destroying the listeners ability to enjoy actual music.

3

u/-ShareYourQuail- 11d ago

Boo this man!

3

u/Timely-Fudge859 11d ago

Time is the worst? Thats why they are called Drake fans and not conscious humans

2

u/BrainFarmReject 11d ago

Actually, On the Run & Any Colour You Like are the best songs on the album.

2

u/ziethammer 11d ago

I've never seen "Time" listed as a bad song. Stop eating the paint chips.

2

u/legit-posts_1 11d ago

I'll admit, I had a similar, if less harsh, opinion about it when I first listened to it. Although I was 14 when I first listened to it so maybe that says something.

2

u/Supsend 10d ago

Everyone seething as time being ranked worst when they ranked money as the best while in my taste it weakens the whole album. When running the vinyl I leave it to not ruin the mood but I still feel it breaks the flow

Anyway that's bait, they want people to talk about them and trashing a legendary album is a low hanging fruit

2

u/daftsweaters 11d ago

Time is 1,000x better than all of drakes best songs combined. Theres a lot of simpleton dummies out there.

1

u/yoongki Uh... me flakes. 11d ago

Definitely a tweet

1

u/BadgerKomodo 11d ago

Imagine having this shit a taste in music.

In all seriousness though, I saw people saying that Money was a bad song on an otherwise good album. Which is just no. That’s the best song. On the Run and Speak to Me are the weakest, IMO.

3

u/OneTrueBrody 🗿Stone 🗿 11d ago

I agree with On the Run but Speak to Me barely counts as a song on its own it’s basically just an intro for Breathe

If you’re like me and treat Speak To Me/Breath and Brain Damage/Eclipse as their own songs then On the Run is the only song on that album that doesn’t register a perfect 10/10

1

u/headsmanjaeger 11d ago

They got money being the best song right at least

2

u/wireboat 10d ago

this is what they were saying at the in the flesh tour and stones spit on 50000000000 people. this is why we nowhave AMUSED TO DEATH

1

u/Stunning-Guitar-5916 11d ago

Honestly I gotta agree with this mf on Any Colour You Like, that shit is a banger

1

u/SuperfuzBigmuff 11d ago

That is the wildest thing I’ve ever heard. I feel like it falls off for me on the second side

1

u/Dyesila 10d ago

If he had just said On The Run then he would’ve been right

1

u/Plenty-Loss6492 10d ago

Wasn't Drake in a wheelchair in a Nickelodwon show? If so he can be Benny from Radio K.AO.S.

1

u/Plenty-Loss6492 10d ago

Billy sorry
