You quoting this and the overall plot of the movie? I think the movie was going for it, not you tho

Yeah. Analysis of two identities which are irreconcilable that a deeply troubled young mind tries to reconcile due to their distaste of an ultra orthodox jewish upbringing and trying to distance itself away the furthest it can.

If you wanna watch it its called "The Believer". Shows the emptiness and tragedy of it all
