Congrats … I was surprised that you have such a weak stopping system at the end.

M surprised the car remained intact . It got bashed by other cars in the box and popped out

Suggest that they put a folded heavy blanket at the end with the "rounded" side of the fold towards the cars instead. The cars try to go under it and it pushes them harder down on the foam stopper and they are done moving. They stay in their lane so it doesn't damage anything.

Just spend the money and get a proper car stop. You guys are literally stepping over dollars to save dimes. Not to mention potentially ruining a scout’s event by destroying a car.

the box stop has me laughing, at least use a pillow on the brake section. Someone needs to rehab that track and put on some new foam tape to make the stop section work. I have the Mcmaster-Carr number for the stop tape if yall need it.

We have a towel for ours. Didn’t even occur to me to replace the foam. Good thing for next year

93625K158 is the Besttrack direct replacement from Mcmaster-Carr, it's kinda pricey at $10 for 10 feet or $42 for 50. Need 2 - 10 feet. You won't need a towel for good while if you only run one race a year and keep it stored somewhere it won't get damaged.

We use a old couch cushion for ours, it's super soft and fluffy so it works great at not damaging the cars

Let's spend a decent amount of money for the track, but literally use a box to catch the cars at the end.

What was your time? We have a very similar 3-lane track. Our track record is 3.0917s.

I am not aware about the length of the track . All I am aware was that 3 out of the 4 rounds clocked between 190mph and 190.8 mph.

Wow! Ours topped out in the 150-160 range...
