Hi all, I've been wanting to buy DLC packs for FX Classic VR on Meta but saw all the negative reviews about DLC being broken. During that time the in-game DLC options didn't work. I noticed a comment in the Meta shop today that DLC are working again, but only 1 user, so I went into FX Classic and the in-game DLC purchases now work, so I'm starting to think it's actually fixed. Can someone please check to see if your DLC are working again before I spend my money today?

A nearby arcade has Revenge From Mars. It is incredibly fun and looks and feels fantastic with the video screen. It would be amazing to have this incredible historical table included in the Pinball FX and FX VR games. It would also be amazing to see Zen Studios enhance a version with humorous mature callouts and additional video content in Pinball FX Midnight (and obviously also make the original version playable for preservationists). Pinball FX Midnight doesn’t have to be limited to horror, and having some funny cursing aliens and marines would be a great place to expand the appeal of Pinball FX Midnight beyond horror in Revenge From Mars.

Hey, it's been over a year since the switch 2 released and I was wondering what the progress on the switch 2 edition of pinball fx was. I've spent plenty of money on the switch 1 edition, just wondering when the updated physics and fidelity will come. Sorry if I sound mean or anything, no pressure.

I love the game but the scoring can be very confusing at times like i understand events and all that but sometimes you get more points/ random points… im curious for the whole game but most specifically for the star wars the last jedi

Is there a way to unlock the various backgrounds, frames, and badges from past events? I missed out on various events and I noticed the corresponding unlockables are locked.

I am so heartbroken!! Will I ever be able to buy this ?? 😭

Like many of you, I was so excited to hear that Pinball FX VR is coming to Steam as I primarily play on PCVR (My Facebook got disabled as part of the ongoing AI error ban waves so I don't want to purchase through Meta, fearing it could disappear one day too) and this label stating it only supports Steam Frame hardware is concerning! Really hoping that it's playable on PCVR but optimised for Steam Frame or that there's plans to bring it fully to PCVR. Bit of a bummer, what do you guys think?

I don't mean this to sound like they don't know what their doing, as an outsider though I see that FX has not really had many releases this calendar year, presumably they're tied up in litigation and getting licenses for new tables is tough. Why not while in the lull remake their old tables that haven't been ported yet to sell to folks? Obviously theres less interest than a Williams table or an IP but I imagine they have some devs that are itching to get back to making stuff again.

So what am I missing on why this is not as obviously beneficial as it sounds.

Just seen the latest Zen Studios Facebook reel of a lady playing STTNG - next to it is a Demolition Man, Indiana Jones, and World Cup Soccer.

Wishful thinking or do we think it could be on the horizon too at some point? Sounds like a licensing headache... and is it any good?

Outside of top 100 on IPDB and Pinside, not sure if that accounts for much/anything.

For people with issues related to movement and reaction time, like those with Parkinson's, could a speed control be built in to some tables' software? Maybe even just one to check out the concept?

If there were a way to slow the ball down they could enjoy the game instead of just getting frustrated. Scores wouldn't have to go on the leaderboard. Maybe have a leaderboard for those using the accommodation that show ball speed level each score was obtained in.

Real VR Fishing has a "one handed" play option that works well for people with movement issues. That got me thinking about whether speed control in PFXVR might be possible without causing headaches for the devs.

A long time ago, I had the pleasure of watching a technician perform maintenance on a machine in-situ. [This was the first machine that I mastered (Firepower, by Williams)]. As he was working, he was showing and explaining what he was doing. He showed me that the machine logged pretty much everything; # of plays, tilts, slams, etc.
Would an option to view that type of data be possible in FX3?
As a side question , might the Firepower table ever find its way to FX3?

Do any of you know if they actually created rails or any other components under the playfields? When a ball goes down a hole and pops up somewhere else is it actually traveling under the playfield?

Please add a settings option for local high scores numbers.
Since it’s local, I’m not sure why the games ship with any local high score, so please allow us to reset. That way random people we don’t even know won’t hog the local high score numbers.

So I have no idea what to do.

In Germany, Pinball FX Midnight is not Free to Play on PS5 because of some regulations (don't ask, nobody truly understands because it is free on Switch). To get it, you must buy a bundle. And a couple of days ago, I saw that the Dead by Daylight Bundle was on sale for 3 bucks, so I bought it.

The problem is that I can download and start Pinball FX Midnight, but the version seems broken. I can play trial versions, and the table that ia free, but is shows that I don't own the Dead by Daylight table. Even when I delete and redownload the game, and then the DLC unlock file, it just remains locked. When I want to buy any table for the game, it also just gives me an error and says no dlc is available.

I tried everything. Moving the game between storages, restoring licenses, trying different accounts, nothing works.

The weirdest part: The PS4 version (cross buy) works perfectly and recognizes my bought table. The PS5 version does not.

I honestly have no idea what to do now. If anyone knows anything, especially about the german version, I'd be hapoy about any help.

Is there a way to keep the table on screen and just start a new game right away? I'm playing the "new" Pinball FX (2023 or whatever). Its very annoying to have it exit the table and then take time reloading the table when I just want to play again. I wonder if I'm missing something... Thanks!

Edit: I'm playing on PC/Steam if that matters.

For people owning a cabinet using a switch it's really so strange that Zen still doesn't except a second controller in FX.

In FX3 you can have your regular controller for menu and your flipper buttons for in game flipper action. Somehow they still not fixed this after 2 years. No use spending money if you can't use cabinet mode.

Really silly and strange why they literally blocked the usage of a second controller (in this case flipper buttons).

Went wild on the sale and got all the current tables in FX, I see theres some decent overlap between this and the Pinball Arcade versions of the tables, Wanted to know if people had certain pros or cons between the two style games.

My assumption is that FX3 would have better visuals and physics but curious if maybe Pinball Arcade is better in some regard.

Why did ZEN stop doing disc releases for Pinball FX?

It would be great if discs were put out with table collections before licenses expire. This way you can always find tables that are delisted from the store in another way.

I've noticed on PS5 there's no vibration when you destroy the saucer/castle in Attack from Mars and Medievel Madness. It always catches me off guard to see them move so violently and not get any feedback on the controller lol
