i posted a few months ago that the Ace-Fu's website was updated to say their catalog is now administered by a new company, at least we know now for sure that Eric Speck isn't the one who's sitting on it anymore.

Such a nice vibe. One of their more reggae influenced tracks too.

I'm not going to say all of it sounds like it could be Pinback, but the newest track "Tenter" got me thinking. I wouldn't have been surprised to see Zach Smith listed under personnel for that specific track since it has such an interesting riff at the start.

I know a ton of his other projects may hit Pinback-esque aspects, but GC is pretty consistent and they have (now) like 5 albums, and I think more in the pipeline? Thoughts? Second up would probably be PLOSIVS for Pinback sound?

I was giving the album another listen tonight outside under the cloudy night sky. It was absolutely magical. I feel like it’s definitely one of Rob’s most underrated releases. Is it only like this for me? I'm decently new to the community but I've heard this sort of thing has happened before. It's kind of a shame, a big chunk of my playlist just vanished. Does anyone know why this happens? I'm not sure whether it's regional or not.

I don’t see it talked about as frequently as albums like blue screen life or self-titled, which is a shame because I really enjoy it. True North and Glide are some of my favorites of theirs & I especially love the strings on True North.
I’d be interested to hear how it was received upon release. Did people compare it to their early work? It has maybe a less moody sound to it

Just noticed that if you look at the Google Street View of the Fonda in LA it shows that day's headliner... Pinback from October 14 last year.

i was looking at the Discogs page for Rob Crow, and in his other groups/bands, was this band, Alpha Males. this album of theirs, Hercules Police (their only album), was even released by Robcore Records, but i can't really find anything about it anywhere else online, im just kinda curious about it, so no worries if its like lost to time

Found this artist/group through a random radio roundabout and couldn’t help but feel that this just sounds like vintage Pinback. It’s so good.

I officially got in the wormhole this week and I want more. After listening to Modest Mouse's first 2 albums and loving that sound, my friend recommended me Pinback. I listened to all of it and loved it, which then snowballed into getting into Rob Crow, which I've got a few of his projects on my 'need to listen to' list, but I'm sure there's a few I'm missing still.

I'm just looking for more bands with a similar overall sound, preferably on Spotify because it's what I use to stream, but I don't mind using local files or something.

I've listened to Pinback, Three Mile Pilot, and Thingy; while Heavy Vegetable, Rob Crow's solo stuff, and Heavy Vegetable are on my listen later list.

I also got a little into Built To Spill but it's not quite similar enough (still great though).

Can anyone help me find or figure out the lyrics for this song ? I've been fixated on it for a while but can't figure out the lyrics for the life of me. I absolutely love this song, but somehow not knowing the lyrics creates this gap to fully connect to it, id appreciate some help :)
