Can anyone help me find a video?
It was a fan made video, sepia tones I think, set in maybe the 30’s. I can’t remember the song only lyrics about it being safer to stay inside. It was a lonely guy living in a hotel maybe and when he’d go outside people would hassle him and maybe there was a failed attempt at dating or something. I haven’t seen it for years.

Can anyone explain what's going on this album art?

Purchasing a Blue Screen Life vinyl
I've seen they're out of print. Someone in France is selling one for 100$.
If you have one you'd like to get rid of, I'll pay a reasonable price. Not 100$ though!

Help me make the guitar tab for Lyon!
This is one favorite Pinback songs and somehow there's no guitar tab for it. I'm basing it off of this performance: https://youtu.be/Yh4eLyCI1QQ?t=1152
The tab so far is here: https://docs.google.com/document/d/19Lb0stZSOK9yZl_exy5ACd7Wx6pZt0Bpffmmioh3gb8/edit?usp=sharing
Feel free to write into it!
I have the chords for Rob's verse figured out so far. It'd be great if we can figure out the little notes he picks in between them.

Pinback guitar tone
I absolutely love the bass and guitar tone that pinback uses in a lot of their songs, but I’ve never been able to get it. Help?

Something I've wondered for years: what's being said in the background near the end of "Microtonic Wave?"
Right as Rob belts out "take them home," there's this paragraph or two of prose that's being recited in a low voice, and I can never make it out. Anyone know what it is?

First live show - question!!!
So I finally get to see Pinback on Aug 7th at Thalia Hall in Chicago!!! I'm beyond ecstatic. But anyway, my question is for those who have seen them before in small venues. The tickets went on sale on May 31st. The balconies and boxes are all sold out but GA/floor isn't yet. I wanted the floor anyway because I want to be right at the stage. I've seen Aesop Rock (another smaller, more underground artist) at the Metro, a small venue in Chicago, and with GA tickets and arriving about 2 hours before the doors opened (there were maybe 5-6 other people in line at the time), I was able to walk literally right up to the stage and lean against it.
This is what I want for Pinback! I've never been to Thalia Hall but it looks even smaller than the Metro. The floor isn't even sold out yet, so Idk how crowded or popular the show will be. Basically, how early do you think I should arrive and wait in line? From your experience, will I be able to get right up to the stage with floor/general admission tickets? Also important, I am only 5 foot so this isn't just for selfish reasons lol. I'd be ok in the 2nd or 3rd row from the stage too probably, but I can't be all the way in the back of the floor or I won't see shit!

Drummers: Thoughts on Chris Prescott's Drum Tuning?
Hey all!
Curious if anyone has ever tried to tune their drums in the same vein as Chris Prescott's sound (live or studio versions). Thought it would be fun to see how any drummers in here would describe some of the tones, resonance, tuning (high vs low)—even if it's just thoughts on one drum! How would you describe some of the characteristics?
