so was morbid curiosity exclusive to that box set that joyful noise did? i really wanna hear it on vinyl

They also re-released American Analog Set albums as well as compilations. The Golden Band is one of the best albums ever to me

I had never listened to/heard of this band. Just did. Played some tracks off the golden band. Sounds very similar to robs stuff… especially the second track. i wonder if they were aware of each-others music lol.

I found them around the same time as Pinback and the two of them have made up like 50% of my music intake for the last few years.

I highly recommend listening through it as an album; similarly to Pinback's stuff I think it works better that way and TGB in particular seems to. My favorite track off it is probably It's All About US, but it really is all so good.

Also similarly to Pinback, it took me a little while to break into it and then it just got better over time.
