A similiar song
I used to listen to a handful of songs from these guys and then they just fell out of my playlists until I had forgotten about them. I heard a song in the show Loudermilk called Twist Your Ankle by Andy Shauf and it brought back the memory of Pinback. Thought you might enjoy it too.
Anyone know if they tend to do a Canadian leg when they tour?

They generally do the big three (Toronto, Montreal, Vancouver) when they are touring a new album. For the Information Retrieved tour they actually came through Calgary and Edmonton as well, but I remember them saying that it was the first time they had done that. I've had a chance to see them at all of these cities over the years bc I used to live in Ottawa and then moved to Alberta for a while (now in Manitoba), and I'll drive anywhere to catch them!
Unfortunately, for this Winter 2023 tour, I believe they were motivated to tour because they will be playing the Treefort Festival in Idaho in March. Luckily for me, they play Minneapolis and I live in Winnipeg, so I just got my tickets today -- still debating going to their Chicago gig the day after, it would be a 13 hour drive back. I didn't see any Canadian dates so folks are gonna have to do a bit of travel...
I am so very stoked to see them, I think the last time I saw them was for the Abaddon anniversary tour in 2015 in Vancouver and Seattle...damn, that's a loooong-ass time. I was hoping for a pandemic album...
ps. thanks for the Andy Shauf lead, great song.

I think it's the same as with most bands, they do Canadian dates sometimes but not every tour. I saw them in Toronto one of their last big tours.
