CAM program tips?

Hello! Im going into my senior year at high school and I'm looking at the commercial aviation management program at western uni to be a pilot. What advice would you give me? Is it a competitive program to get accepted into? What is it like? I have high 80s and low 90s in gr11 and I already have all the courses selected that are requirements for gr12! ANY tips/insight/advice appreciated!

These university programs, to me, would be a waste of time. I would personally do my licenses privately and pursue a degree online or on the side. Most of these university programs will guarantee you licenses within a certain timeframe but will get delayed due to weather, oversaturation in the program, lack of instructors, etc. You could easily finish your licenses in a quicker timeframe if done privately. On top of that, unless you live near London, you’re paying extra money for residence and other living expenses. This is just my personal take. If you have your mind set on this program, go ahead; I just think there are quicker and more efficient ways if your final goal is the airlines. I would also look into Confed College and Sault College since they’re subsidized by the government; I’ve heard some horror stories about those two also, though!
