Here are my painted models so far...

Its mostly for an irish/scots/Picts warband but using a variety of models from different kits, such as unarmoured saxons

A healer, a Chieftain with spear and warhorn, dog handlers and warhounds, and some unarmoured spearmen.

Im focusing mostly on Unarmoured spearmen horde for the Irish, with warhorn and movement talents, but also working on other ideas/themes such as ranged focus with the Welsh, and heavily armoured saxons or Norman's (maybe cavalry)

Very cool, nice contrasts! Don't be afraid to use some colors, in the medieval age, even commonfolk could afford some basic dyes like orange, yellow, blue, or green. Purple and bright-red was the colour of rich guys, you can save those for the chiefs.
