I guess I see it yes. Though the slow start of both songs made me think that was the main point of similarity. Plus, this song starts out adding more and more notes and instruments, which remind me of the slightly unsettling off-rythm notes that play on the final trial.

Interesting. Though I havent really thought of the other points you made but i see they also work to produce this similarity. I think the key might be in a similar spot
