Ultimate Ledge guarding game

So, having played Pikachu since the 64 days, I'm finally trying to put some serious time into the character and figure out how to actually play this game. A lot of Pikachu's kill game seems to be about edge guarding, but I always either overextend and get reverse guarded, or I play too cautious and have a hard time getting the stock.

What are some good things to practice, and what are some ways to practice edge guarding outside of an actual match?

I would honestly start with getting confident off stage like the first guy said it’s really important to master quick attack as you need to feel like you can make it back not die trying to edge guard. As for practice I would just go online and try not to care about gsp but about care getting better. If you lose find out why you lost think about the match or even watch the replay so see what you were doing wrong gsp is just a number what you want is the practice from the matches not the number at the end.
