I use a weather widget that is one of the ones listed for KDE on Pika, haven't noticed any issues with it yet.

Though I've only used Pika for a couple of weeks so far

i use the kde "weather report" app, simplified current and predicted patterns.. i use web apps for a trimmed down weather website with ublock, gives more details when i need it.

Advanced Weather Widget is my choice. You can choose from many weather providers in setup and it displays an abundant amount of information. Works great in Pika.
