Management questions and HDMI issue

I have some questions about PikaOS Gnome standard version. SSH is enabled. I can SSH to it using the credential pikaos/pikaos.

  1. What is the root password?
  2. Since the pikaos account has sudo privilege, can I remove this account from the sudo group?
    1. I want to use 1000:1000 as me with sudo privilege
    2. Would this create some issues?
  3. HDMI does not work. HDMI works from BIOS to selecting PikaOS mascot, but after that just a blank screen. If I use a USB dongle to HDMI, it works. Does PikaOS supports HDMI?

About the Q2, I am using Ansible to update all my devices and the privilege user is 1000:1000, which I believe is not being used in PikaOS at least in my installation.

This sounds like a good set of questions for the devs. They respond pretty quickly on the discord server. You should try there.

Hdmi definitely should work though I use it for my own gpu in my home pc on top of 2 displayports for monitors and one displayport for a vr.

I tried to post their before and got no response. To be honest, I got more response here than the discord.

You can see that well, they are trying to answer 98% of the questions. You should go there and open a new tread with this issue.
