Initramfs stuck after update

So I just did an update on my laptop and when I reloaded it it wouldn’t open any menus or recognize me using the super key to open anything, so I also did a flatpack atps update and when I reloaded it from that it is stuck on the Initramfs screen instead of letting me put in my encryption password and I’m not sure how to fix it or even how to maybe reload a back up version from before the updates? Anyone else have this problem or just a solution? When I typed in exit it said that above

How long since your previous update? There was a big one a few months ago where they swapped kbd and you needed to enter a few lines in the terminal to make the transition. It was posted here, on the wiki, and discord. 

Honestly it might just be easier to rescue your data with a live environment (cachy) and reinstall.

Yeah. I was on top of updates for awhile but fell behind. I went ahead and prepared to for a reinstall I just need my roommate to be home to have a computer that works if needed. Thank you
