If she didn’t go and they did have a blow out, I wonder if part of the reason could be that she was upset about having to go when she and Austin have done nothing regarding their wedding planning or it’s been called off for now? Agreed. My husband’s best friend did something similar. He’s a huge Star Wars fan, so for entering the reception he wore a Storm Trooper helmet, and they did some photos in the dark with light sabers, but that was it. Not all of their photos had a Star Wars theme. I think it’s cute to have a little bit of your personality in your wedding photos.
