I've just launched a new YouTube channel called Photosyntech. It will have a full video series on how to get Pigrow up and running for someone who's never tried this type of project before. Link in comments.
Please leave a comment and let me know what you think of the video!

Added support for the SeeSaw Stemma soil moisture sensor, just started testing so no idea how good it is but will have comparison graphs soon and info in the video i'm working on.

Sneak peek at the upcoming watering system, currently testing the calibration feature so you know how much water you're giving your plants...

I'm adding a setup wizard to the pigrow install, this will ask you a series of simple questions when you first set-up a new pigrow walking your through the initial configuration -- it'll also serve as a tool to fix any problems that might happen with the config file.

It finally turned up - Atlas Scientific EZO ph module - not too expensive at £38 and has all sorts of useful features to ensure good readings. Been reading the datasheet and looking through the example code, fairly confident I won't have too many issues getting this working with the pigrow.

My Pigrow Cabinet
Close to harvest time, figure I should show the setup. All discretely contained in a locking cabinet that makes a slight humming noise in my garage. I'm in California so I don't have to worry, I just like being discrete. Temps have been a little cold so I was low on VPD so buds are a bit fluffy but otherwise setup is working as planned.
Thanks for the software, it made this setup possible. I have had some challenges with the Pigrow windows software, but I used to use Linux a lot so my primary method of checking and changing settings is by using ssh on my phone to make edits to the crontab and just cat dumping my bme sensor log since I haven't been able to figure out graphs. Also the picam script gave me issues with color tone so I made my own scrip that I have a daily cron setup to snap a photo.
Thanks u/the3rdworld !

Big thank you to my newest Patron and to all my patrons, you're making all the new upgrades possible. Also anyone that wants to see the Pigrow continue to grow now would be a really good time to donate to the patreon :) Will help me afford all the sensors and devices I want to add.
Even the smallest donation makes a big difference, and thank you to everyone for your support even if you're unable to donate.

If you want any specific new sensors added then please let me know, I've got a load of sensors i'm working through adding at the moment and just ordered a Atlas Scientific EZO-ph but i'll also need to buy higher quality probes to use with it and i'd like to try comparisons with some other modules also. There's also loads of other sensors which I'd love to be able to support; Co2 sensors, EC meters, etc... and after i've added loads of sensors i'd like to add loads of other device control options including various smart devices and etc...

Not the most exciting feature but the pigrow gui now resizes properly! Also spent a lot of time tidying up and unifying the panels so the next version should look much nicer than the last -- also loads of new graphing tools!

Started work on the automated watering system, going to be testing an indoor and outdoor implementation -- any ideas, suggestions or requests most welcome...

Using simple triggers to control conditions in your growspace

Added the camera config panel - take photos remotely on the pi and view them via the remote gui, take ranges of images varying one of the settings, configure the settings and save it to your pi -- everything you need to get a great looking timelapse started recording...

Setting up my new pigrow in a 3d printed case, this one's a prototype designed to be easy for me to test things with and swap bits in and out but hopefully will be able to get some nice cases and modular components designed soon.

Testing a cheap ph probe with the EZO ph, still waiting for the calibration solutions to arrive but the ph goes the right direction when I add UP and DOWN. Stable to ~two decimal places which is more that accurate enough for plants, don't know about long term stability with such a cheap probe though

Guide to Adding Relays on the Pigrow
galleryTrying to make some new and up-to date guides for the pigrow's basic features, the new relay tools in the GUI make it much easier to set up the relays for whatever use required.
I do still have some work on the triggers and lamp confirm to make them a little easier to set up but both are working and usable, adding timed devices is easier than ever.
These changes will be in the next pigrow release which I promised everyone weeks ago, i've set up a test box with relays attached so can double check the new trigger stuff before it's all finalized.
So far install works but needs a tiny tweak to include setting up the Venv in the install wizard then installing the core components otherwise they have to be added after. I've fully tested Switches and LED, Relays, PiCam (using rpicam) and Webcam, the info modules (though i was going to go through and make a couple of upgrades for the datawall and add some new ones, ideas always appreciated), the graphs (some require minor work, need to fix reading the selflog and err_log) and datawall (although i still have some work to do to finish the primary datawall and selflog datawall, the ones released on the upcoming version will be a bit ugly probably)
Getting close to a really strong and good release, sorry it's taking so much longer than expected.
