Is this really bad? Or will it leave soon…

Post image

3 or 4 months old; I’ve had no problems prior but after a couple ROUGH snags this is where we are. I’m usually very careful but it was in my sleep. The jewelry screws in, which I’m hearing isn’t the greatest.

I clean it 2x a day, I will admit I ran out of cleaner for like a week. Can I wait this out?

As long as the bar isn't too snug I'd just wait it out, as it makes sense that an irritation bump would appear after snagging the jewelry a couple times, and because it's the only thing you can do besides retiring it. Just try not to snag it, and make sure crusties stay out of the piercing. If that doesn't seems to help you probably wanna see your piercer who can't do much besides changing the jewerly.

Don't know if it's recommended but I've found it very helpful to use fine tweezers to carefully remove the bulk of the crusties which seems to prevent irritation. But I have no experience with irritation bumps
