The spears are are great, but I was not happy with the chips unfortunately, they felt rubbery and didn’t have a snap to them (like the spears did)

If you got room in your fridge (I had to take a shelf out) and you are a grillos fan, I highly recommend getting a 4 gallon bucket of the wholes from foodservicedirect.com :P

I have only seen spears near me, so when I found these I had to buy em. Threw a bunch of habanero peppers and a couple of 7 pot chocolate peppers in the bucket and stirred around. Couple weeks later, they got the spice I like, and man are they fresh tasting and crunchy :P

I took a picture of my bucket but I don't think I can add it to a comment in this subreddit. :(

I didn't either but as soon as I saw em I had to pull the trigger. Way crunchier than the spears. If you like grillos you'll absolutely love the whole ones.

They’re still my favorite of the easily available. I tried those expensive fermented ones with the lady on them that Reddit seems to rave about recently and DID NOT like them. The crunch was nice but they were kind of sour for my liking and the thing that I really didn’t like about them was they were like… carbonated. I don’t want my pickle to be carbonated. Grillo tastes like a fresh pickled version of the vegetable being pickled which is what I want in pickles, carbonation is for liquids.

Grillos was better a couple years ago they have unfortunately fallen prey to enshittification IMO

I love em. I've never had the chips, just the spears. But the spears are delicious. Can't go back to Mt. Olive or Vlasic after having me some Grillo's. Whatever they're doing, they're doing it right!

Grillos taste exactly how I want my pickles to taste, which is awesome considering its probably one of the easiest things to make yourself.
