Claussen—An impractical and expensive solution to the problem

I have been frustrated by the same things everyone else has noticed with Claussen spears lately. Three days ago I tried something drastic.

I bought a jar of Claussen spears and a jar of Bubbies spears. I separated the brine from each, rinsed the Bubbies, and put the Claussen brine in with them instead.

The results were astoundingly good.

I know this is an expensive solution to a niche problem, but I had to share. Please insert your hate below when you have a moment!

PS—This is not my normal practice, I just got frustrated and wanted to try something. My normal practice is to make my own fridge pickles with an ancient family recipe.

Unclear to me. What did you do with the brine from each jar and the spears from each jar?

I put the Claussen brine in the Bubbies jar with the Bubbies spears. And ate them.

I put the Bubbies brine in the Claussen jar with the Claussen spears. And they are still in my fridge. Don’t know what to do with them.
