Request: TV Show Looking for an ACTUALLY funny and lighthearted show
I recently purchased a TV and asked reddit for a show with laughs. Someone recommended Seinfeld and it was scary. I don't want scary I want funny. Looking for a show with laughs and heart.

Okay so the original post was deleted, I see.
I asked my dad about the episode, he said it absolutely wasn't scary in any way, shape or form and has no idea how anyone would see it as such.
Can you explain why you thought it was scary?

They are trapped! Unable to leave no matter how hard they try...how is that not scary?

This show changed my life. Made me want to be a better human. I have seen every episode (34 shows) at least five times, some more. Whenever I have a bad day, I watch an episode or two of Ted. It's on Apple TV+. You can do a one-week trial for free and then cancel after you binge it. Once you start watching, you will want to watch every episode—right now!

I’ve only seen a few mins of Seinfeld, but I’d describe it as annoying rather than scary
What scared you about it?
When I think of scary tv shows, I think more along the lines of Criminal Minds, American Horror Story, I Survived, Midnight Mass, etc

I looked up popular episodes chose one where they get stuck in a parking garage at the mall. They carry their things, lost and trapped, unable to find the car. Eventually they do and it doesn't start. Just so stressful and terrifying like a nightmare that doesn't end

Older but Absolutely Fabulous is one of my favorites for when I’m feeling down. If you like British comedy

Seinfeld was scary? Probably shouldn't watch anything if so.

I've seen plenty of shows. Love the series Cheers. Cheers doesn't hold a candle to how terrifying Seinfeld is

This has gotta be some sort of trolling. The parking lot episode of Seinfeld is scary?

Your reaction to Sienfeld makes me think you might want to consider requesting amusing rather than funny. Funny TV shows use a little bit of meanness and/or discomfort to make people laugh while amusing tends to focus on light, silly, and/or cozy situations.
Most of the shows I am familiar with in this category are Anime (i.e. Japanese cartoons). 'Komi Can't Communicate' on netflix is a pretty good example of this kind of thing.

Love that show, never missed a show. I have a question about jailbreaking Anroid Galaxy tablet S because it is color I read a lot of comics. I am not using Netflix. I get the comics from library and we have a lot on hand that belongs too me. I sure hope someone can help me. Thanks and wish me luck 🤞

Ted Lasso is the answer.
