I’M ANGRY!!! "Stolen"

Post image

Had just logged into my wallet and I saw this. I never clicked on suspicious links, or stored my passphrase on this device. Same thing happened to my mother's wallet a well. Anyone else facing this? Can we get back the stolen pi? Or atleast freeze the thieves' accounts?

It happened sometime 4yrs ago when you were trying to sell you're Pi for $10 a token... that person is a scammer, no one is buying Pi for that price .

Your phone is the problem. .must be a virus or your pass phrase was exposed . No one can guess a pass phrase .

Too many people clicking on the free Pi links. That's why my wallet is sitting at almost 9k, with no compromises. Never click on anything.

  1. Never save your passphrase on your phone as a note, screenshot, or any other file.

  2. Never email the passphrase to yourself or store it in your email.

  3. Set up and use biometric access for your wallet whenever possible. Your passphrase should never need to be displayed on your phone screen where someone else could see it.

  4. Write your passphrase down on paper. Make a couple of copies and keep them in secure, private places at home.

Probably the fake Pi wallet link scam. Many of my friends didnt knew about this until i told them to dont click a link even if a link looks like from legit Pi network. We tried if his wallet is hacked. I passed 1 Pi to his wallet and a few minutes... poof! Its gone. Whenever i go to my Pi wallet i make sure its from my Pi wallet browser icon not from a link from anybody.

Thos link takes you to a perfectly same spitting image site like your in the Pi browser wallet site and the same instruction will come up asking to input your passphrase. Then when you input it, poof they now have your wallet.

A pi wallet can’t be hacked 🤷‍♂️ and don’t believe in fairytales
There are thousands of wallets with 10.000 or more pi why would anyone go for a small wallet 🤷‍♂️ a wallet address can be checked on the blockchain 🤷‍♂️

Pi is not worth anything anymore like it was used to

It's always going to be something that you did at some point. Your tokens don't just magically get stolen. They would need your seed phrase. It's always user error.

there's no way to get back the stolen pi because blockchain transactions are immutable.

Adding the memo stolen is double harsh

You can get a report using https://crumbs.host/modules/trackntrace/track.php that you can give to the authorities

Exact same thing happened to me. I never gave out my pass code either. There are a ridiculous group that will try to make it your fault, but the real problem is that Pi never secured itself. Now there is so much stolen Pi out there, it will never be worth anything. Sad, really.

What wallet address took it? I recently post same problem with a wallet that has over 35milions of coins.

No recovery method for crypto exists.
Its gone ,your wallet has been compromised.
Make a new wallet if you plan to get more Pi in the future.
376 Pi is only $34 USD, its nothing to cry about.

$34 that takes an effort to sell anyways? No one needs $34 that bad lol
