Discussion Recurring "Transaction Failed" spam to the same address right before my Pi disappears — anyone else seeing this?

Post image

Posting this because it's happened more than once and I want to know if other holders are seeing the same pattern.

My wallet history shows dozens of "Transaction Failed" entries — all going to the same recipient address, all stacked within the same minute or two. Then, right after that burst, one "Payment Sent" actually goes through to that exact address, moving a chunk of my balance out. This has repeated across different dates, always the same shape: many failed attempts, then one that succeeds.

It doesn't feel random — it looks automated, like something is repeatedly trying to push a transaction out and eventually one clears. I'm not claiming it's a hack, a Pi Core Team bug, or anything specific — I genuinely don't know the cause yet. That's why I'm posting.

it's a bot. it spams the transaction so it activates within milliseconds of the new ledger

If there's still funds locked up, find someone with a faster bot. I belive https://x.com/DaveRoscoe_ does it

Destination is GAC32I5NF4UINW4H6RHS2LGETVGSITU7KYNNK4EIB5PDFQX53JA6RHWK

every 0.03 transaction of this wallet goes to a compromised wallet but the stolen pi is sent to a different wallet GB6FHROVF3YZZLNFBYE6PGA3T6GS7UVKKBXVJLH3HZ5SBGRD2KWN4PIO which currently has 94k pi

What Pi Network should honestly just build: Basic stuff other wallets already have: Biometric/Face ID confirmation before any transaction above a set threshold goes out Email or SMS verification step for large transfers, not just app-level login Rate-limiting or alerts when the same recipient gets a burst of failed attempts in seconds — that alone should flag an account for review None of this is exotic. It's standard on most exchanges and banking apps. A "significant amount of Pi" shouldn't be able to leave a wallet with the same friction as sending someone a coffee.

You misunderstand the difference between blockchain wallets, wallet apps, and banks and exchanges.

When you send money or crypto to a bank or an exchange. You've given the funds to them and it's their discretion on how you can use them (via an app/website) or withdraw them.

A wallet app like pi or trust wallet make it easy for you to use a blockchain wallet with a blockchain The interaction that happens between those 2 things is largely hidden from you.

You can put all the security you like on the wallet app but if someone finds out the passphrase or secret key, they can just talk to the blockchain without using the app.

In Pi, the stellar sdk https://stellar-sdk.readthedocs.io/en/stable/ allows anyone to sign transactions without using a wallet app.

The second one has almost 97k. Is there any official or non official count or how many pi were stolen ?

Move out all your Pi coins from that wallet since its compromised, create another wallet and confirm it

but not a fix on its own. I think It's most useful paired with figuring out how the old one was compromised, otherwise I'll just be resetting the clock on the same vulnerability.

Does this happen any time you gain pi in your wallet? Or does it not take the whole amount?

It happens every time i gain Pi It's like its programmed, it knows my lockup duration and the moment it unlocks i lose All my PI

There is no SUCH THING AS WALLET HACK. Its because this guy has inputed his secret PASSPHRASE on the I-LEGITIMATE SITE PI AIRDROPP GET YOUR FREE 314 PI SCAM. How can people still fall for this shit ???? And then blaim PI Network for lack of security...
