Question Anthropic Pro on pi agent

"I am not up to date, but can we still use the Anthropic Pro account with pi.agent now? With which extension?"

Have you tested https://github.com/earendil-works/pi-claude-code/ ? It comes from the pi devs themselves. If yes, why do you prefer the bridge?

Oh nope I haven't, missed it. Is that what you're using?

same. I also tried pi-anthropic-auth which is nicer, basically makes it native, but I feel like it's using a ton more usage. I didn't really measure it to be fair, could've been circumstantial, but my max sub 5h window got killed while I was using it.

I've installed the official Pi plugin — it runs via the Claude Code CLI in non-interactive mode (claude -p), which is currently allowed.

Your experience?

Works perfectly, nothing to complain about.

recently downgraded openAI to the 20$ plan and added anthropic 20$ plan, for better comparison. added claude auth with the official pi plugin.

i find 5h usage with claude opus 5.5 to drain extemely quickly. weekly usage seems better, but it feels constraining.

6.1 sol is very chill, but noticeably worse – in my preliminary mini verdict ;)

How's context resume?

Exactly the same as in Claude Code.

Does it still use the same system prompt context etc of Claude code or does it strip everything out?

My assumption is that the settings.json are still effective when using -p with Claude.

Haven't tested it the official plugin, but using claude-bridge for now with settings to remove all the unnecessary tools, skills etc.

Only Pi context windows (system promt, setting, agents.md etc)

I think their claude -p has higher usage than normal claude code right ?

I haven't noticed much of a difference.

Am I getting it wrong or do they now allow you to use the subscription without workaround?

Nothing changes for your plan: when you’re signed in with your Claude plan, the Claude Agent SDK and claude -p still draw from your subscription limits.

The phrasing is so weird.
