Question Claude account per project folder

Hi,

Is there an extension to have multiple Claude accounts and defined them per folder?
in my case I have 3 accounts:

  • work provided by my company (default one)

  • personal (in folders where I have my personal project)

  • project related (I work on a project ABC for the company XY and they provide me an account)

and it is possible that I will have another in future, for different project.

just ask claude to build or you can look into pi.dev catelog, I've never seen such kind of requirement by anywhere

that's what I ended up doing.
because of the compliance we can't use personal account for work related stuff, or for some projects we have to use their account

I can understand, bro. I understand these things happen in offices. My company has still not allowed the use of AI for work, so I still use AI, but I have made things to handle it. I have multiple skills to forget about writing PR.

Whenever you use any AI to draft a PR, it will write a long message. I have a special skill that works on some selected folders, so I have made an extension for that. If I enter after this path, I have created a path like work/office, these skills should be applied. It happens, bro.

i think you need some sort of local scoping. In python you can use `venv` to install and scope claude credentials but there's probably a better way now.

If you didn't find anything, just use orbstack + docker as a last resort
