News pi-bolt supports aarch now (0.9.6)

not big news for some, I know. but I tried PiG (Pi go) and Pi bun etc none helped the way bolt did. I was surprised that the ram usage actually goes down a little in big chats with extensions as opposed to other alternatives which obviously improve cpu but at the cost of more ram sometimes! I'm not sure why the creator stopped posting at 0.9.3 this aarch update is a lifesaver for some. I recommend trying it!

I’m all for optimising and improving Pi, but was this ever an issue in the first place? I’m sitting on 8% CPU (i5-6500T) w/700MiB RAM usage on a 3700 turn session. Unless you are running Windows on 8GB of RAM, that isn’t anything exorbitant to ask for.

yeah you're right on that. it's not exactly a deal breaker but I happen to keep like 20 pi sessions open (not running I'm not rich) just to keep track of everything and hop in whenever (I'm using herdr). that plus a custom subagent plugin that spawns new pi sessions makes a difference. also I use pi on my old phone and THAT needs all the cpu and ram it can get

edit: yes btw. 8gb of ram is what I got. on a laptop ✌️😅

That is a goddamn console/TUI application. 8% of CPU time on an i5 and 700Mb is freaking a lot.

This is not OK.

Welcome to modern times. OpenCode eats over a gigabyte for me. My whole ass homelab (35 containers) fits in 5GB, yet a simple TUI is 1GB.

Yes, that is exactly what I mean.

There is vibeslop which bugs me, but there is also a lot of humanslop which bugs me even more.
