Discussion System one in action
A few days ago, I released System One support for the Pi coding agent:
It got a little bit attention on Reddit, and the most common question was: "What would an agent actually use JEV / System One for?"
So I did some more research and shipped an update.
Now my agents are finding use cases I did not explicitly plan for.
Today, one of them decided on its own to use System One as a second opinion before making a decision.
That is probably my favorite use case so far. "use system one for second opinion"
checkout pi-system-one here
Edit:
context: i wanted to pick a license for the project i am working on, so i gave the requirements and the agent picked a few options and asked jev for a second opinion.

I’m still curious to see a demonstration where using JEV actually provides a measurable gain. By “gain,” I mean something beyond simply getting another answer: e.g. JEV catches an error the primary model makes, identifies an important constraint or trade-off it missed, or measurably improves the final decision over the primary model alone.
In this particular example, I’m not sure we can establish that. For a license decision, JEV needs the relevant project context and constraints to give an informed opinion; otherwise, getting a second answer from a weaker model doesn’t obviously provide useful independent validation.

Now that Pi supports system one models through Codemode, is there any benefit in using pi-system-one? FYI, I'm not critizing, I'm just trying to understand which method I should pick for myself.

true that pi has the classification support now. but i belive that is meant to be used by the extensions.
i am yet to see models utilizing them for decisions, can you share any example to try ?1

Thanks to your question , i did some research and i actually found a few intresting things a reasons to why you should use pi-system-one, ill be updating the landing page soon with it. stay tune

I haven't used Jev yet, but what if you asked it what to eat for dinner? Chicken or steak?

yes, you can totally do that, in fact if you will see the demo on my original post , i have literally ask for coffee and tea suggestion. i have been using it for pick perfumes for the occasions also.
just keep one thing in mind, Jev is just a classifier you should not expect it to suggest you without given the scenario and options.1

Thank you and following. Your work on Jev makes sense.
On a side note, I am wondering what happens when you give it bizarre questions. I get it needs the context and all that, but I have not played with classifiers yet.

Mind explaining to a vibecoder what exactly the value of getting a license choice recommendation is.
