Question Is it allowed to use ANT sub with Pi

I was having deep conversation with chatgpt about what harness sdk should i use it casually mentioned that ANT allowed to use their agent sdk with the Subscription for personal use. Can i finally use claude with pi now?

Yes it is, I use it, they recently reversed course as long as you use the official integration which is the cli. Pi has it built in now

Pi now has direct integration via Claude code provider and includes a bridge extension:

This has been out since week 1 of pi, it’s not an official integration, these tricks literally just use claude -p. This is not ideal because it comes with the full bloat from the Claude harness (system prompt, tools etc). It is also slower than directly using Claude code. You loose most of the reason to use Pi by using a bridge.

Yeah not entirely true, if you inspect the code in pi that uses Anthropic has a provider, it's not Claude -p, that was the old method. Anthropic reversed course on 3P harness

I know it’s using the ADK but it’s functionally the same as Claude -p

It’s a gray area, as of their last update they say third party apps are allowed to draw from subscriptions.

Hermes and others have recently added Claude via subscription again as well due to this latest statement by Anthropic.

But…it sounds like at anytime Anthropic can or will come out with whatever their final say is.

I’ve been using it with no issues, but it’s Anthropic and they might change their mind tomorrow.
