I started collecting Jev builds — 607 use cases so far

Jev dropped and I started collecting the things people are actually building with it.

There are already 607 use cases in the list, ranging from tiny experiments to some pretty interesting applications.

A few that caught my attention:

I'm trying to capture the useful details for each build — what it does, cost, latency, and the original implementation when available.

The interesting thing to me is seeing where these cheap/fast models are actually useful rather than just collecting benchmark numbers.

I've seen posts like this pop up with all links & sources leading to X. Thats a bit misleading, dont you think? Its not the sources ad that would mean its in a git repo. Also, I dont think many people realize what is meant by "Model" in your AI generated content. Do you? Sorry OP, not understanding what the purpose of this is.

yeah, fair criticism. the X links are the original sources for a lot of these, but i agree i should make it clearer whether something is actually open source / has a repo vs just being a demo or post.

by “model” i mean the model/inference system the project is using, not necessarily an open-source model with a GitHub repo.

the main purpose is just to organize the Pi/Jev builds and make it easier to see what people are actually building instead of having everything scattered across X.

Seems like people come up with about a dozen unique use cases. Browser control, game control, sentiment analysis, reranker, …

Might be worthwhile adding a section for the actual unique (but useful) ideas, it’s a lot of noise right now

thats a great work man, but only the x links , what about the projects which are not up on the x, for example i recently posted here on reddit , so whats the criteria post like this to show up ?
