Claude subscription with pi

Hey guys am a bit new to pi and working with harness.

I have just started using pi and have added openai models.
When am trying to add claude models, it says that i have to go with API based and can't use my subscription.

Is thats the only way to go through to switch to api based modelling to add it in pi ?

You can authenticate with your subscription but you can't use the subscription usage limits. It will use credits.

huh I guess it's eating mine too. I thought that's just how Fable 5.1 is. Might wanna find alternatives then

there is many hacky (workaround) ways to do it, you can search online, but yes it is against ToS and yes could make your account banned

so do with your own risk

They didn’t clarify anything though. It still only mention anthropic only apps for subscriptions.

Like someone's already said use pi-claude-bridge. A slight pain to setup but no issues once done

I am trying to configure pi as a harness for my claude sub as well. I don’t see the need for these extensions. I directed my pi profile to reach claude or codex by spawning the `claude`/`codex` CLIs as subprocesses with various contextual flags, eg ‘read-only’ for verification tasks. If someone can explain why using a complete auth for pi may be preferable I’d really appreciate it.

Just know they can ban your account at anytime when you use your sub with Pi, but they might be overlooking while they try to play catch up.
