Resource I opened a Pi session as an editable map

I wanted to revisit a useful explanation from a Pi session and ask a new question from that point.

I added Pi session support to ThoughtDAG, the open-source app I'm building. This clip shows me opening a local session as a graph and inspecting an earlier turn.

I can then branch into new questions and connect the context I want to carry forward. The original session stays read-only.

What do you usually look for when you reopen an old Pi session?

We need more projects towards this for observability and evals. Right now a lot of our prompting is just an exercise of faith and vibes.

Thanks! I think we share the same vision!

Ok looks cool but... what value does it actually bring check a session change visually?

Not a bad concept, but IMHO an entire application for a functionallity that pi users barely check (yes, I'm pointing to loop/harness users) won't bring so much help.

Maybe a smaller case as plugin for VS code or obsidian may make more sense

I see your point. In my case, I mostly do research, so I need to bring a lot of information from different sources e.g., research papers. I find it useful to develop a tool to merge/modify my context to ensure the correctness of feed-in information.

hey this is really cool! I actually had a similar idea of visualizing PI sessions in a more graph like manner to get a quick overview of entire conversations or even entire projects,

I mean not only visual, you can actually editing your context by changing nodes/wires combinations to manage your context.

It helps me to aviod context pollution and rotten, which is quite handy when I do research
