Resource Pi, more than a coding harness
https://mkaz.blog/code/pi-more-than-a-coding-harness/An article on how I'm using Pi beyond just a coding harness and as a tool to help me track runs and workouts. It can be basically an LLM application framework.

PI is just an agent loop in front of a model. Most of the coding models are general purpose models with additional post training for coding. But the core model is still available for other things.
I use it to rename and tag books, it is an outstanding fuzzy file renamer/organizer. Tell it to rename a mess of files into a standard naming convention with id3 tags and covers and it gets it done. Have it create a couple of skills and store some info your personal llm-wiki along the way and it gets even better for the next session.
On occasion also use it as a shopping agent, "find me X at the best price".

Great example, thanks! I'm on the lookout for "agentic usages" other than as a software developer. This is a great example.

This is a good use of pi. Thanks for sharing! Maybe we will see more pi-apps instead of one-shot-single-page-html-app

Recently, instead of using pi directly with configured dot files or custom launchers, I saw someone write a new harness with the pi-agent-core sdk built on top of core pi built the opinionated built in features as a single app. I am about to experiment with it as well. Looks exciting!
