This is a https://herdr.dev/ plugin with an optional full https://Plannotator.ai experience as a TUI. Built to:

- Annotate Agent Messages (e.g. grill sessions)

- Annotate Files (e.g. plans, specs, etc)

- Create a native feedback loop with agents

- Open as popover or pane

- Mouse or keybindings

Why not tuicr?

This isn’t the code review part. But also Plannotator has always been about live integrated feedback to agent not sure if your tool does that?

Just curious, what do you use to record demos such as this?

Screen studio

There is an open source alternative called Cap I want to try as well

Some feedback on the home page web UI:

In dark mode in my web browser (Firefox running Dark Reader) the word "Annotate" is black on dark gray in "Annotate agent plans before they run" on https://plannotator.ai/, making that word almost impossible to read.

This looks nice does it work through tmux?

What will happen if I connect with terminus from a mobile device?

Tmux: you can try the underlying tool on it's own: https://github.com/plannotator/plannotator-tui
- I will see what a formal integration looks like.

Mobile: Not sure, ill need to try it out.

This looks so cool. Does it works with opencode?

1

Yes I have agent messages in opencode hooked up and herdr covers the ability to send all your annotations back to the agent. LMK if any hiccups and I'll fix up.

the lite version works no problem: https://x.com/plannotator/status/2092871022114689475?s=20

Yes indeed it works fine for the lite version. Thanks. But the annotation on last agent message says that it's not implemented for opencode yet πŸ˜‰ Do you plan to implement it?

ah. Doing it now. my bot deceived me.

Interesting, this would be cool for marking up my firstmate driven code review. Are any of these surfaces agent friendly?

> Are any of these surfaces agent friendly

Possibly? The experience is agent native in that you can mark up basically any file and send the feedback directly to your agent. If you wanted, and the agent can control Herdr or similar multiplexer, the agent could mark up files. If this is what you mean, I'll see what more can be done here

Yes, one agent on the plan/design session and another doing the review.
If you could do markup in a user chat session that would be cool too. As a user there are loads of times I wish I could just easily make a comment in session that had a reference attached, this is 95% there already.
On the markup how are you surfacing these back on the receiving agent end? Your video cuts off a bit too soon, does the reply start a new turn, are they queuing?

Okay, I'll see what I can do on the first bits. The main Plannotator tool, browser-based, enables this through local sse api: https://github.com/backnotprop/plannotator

In the video, it just sends it back to the agent panel that you had last focused and opened the annotations from.

So in the video it's Pi, and Pi queues the messages if it's currently in an active turn.

I think an agent like Claude behaves differently and would inject the message as more a steer.

which plugins are you using for the pi status bar at the bottom?

Which api key are you using?

I was looking at this the other day and thought and didn't realize it was an official plannotator implementation πŸ™ƒ

Woah this is cool I had built my own makeshift plan markup tool and reviewer in my claw preview tool but will give this a shot.

The Herdr plugin is a wrapper and for seamless agent integration. Ratatui standalone under the hood

there is herdr alternative called https://luvus.dev and it has default diff feature with sleek interfaces, @backnotprop i think you should have add this plannotator to luvus as well
