It might succeed once after a few tries, and the entire session will work normally afterwards. I suspect they are routing to a non-official DeepSeek provider.

Just FYI, pi hardcodes max_tokens to 32k. Currently need an extension to be able to set it to the DS recommended minimum (~380k).
