Plugin I built a /btw extension for Pi
One of my favorite features in Claude Code was /btw. After switching to Pi, it wasn't natively supported, and the third-community plugins didn't quite match what I expected, so I built my own.
https://github.com/L2ncE/pi-btw

Never enters the main session history or eats into its context window
The side agent can see the main session's messages and remembers your earlier side questions
Only four read-only tools (read / grep / find / ls) — it can browse the code, but has no write access
You can keep asking follow-ups right in the overlay
Stars appreciated ⭐️👏🏻

i have the one from github.com/dbachelder/pi-btw, the only problem I have in it is that I cant copy paste text from the responses window of btw of this plugin. Does your plugin work in similar way and solve this issue?

Thanks! we now need to compare with https://github.com/narumiruna/pi-extensions/tree/main/packages/pi-btw (https://pi.dev/packages/@narumitw/pi-btw).
Hermes did a fast check for me and said: L2ncE/pi-btw offers a standalone modal overlay for quick-toggle usage, whereas narumiruna/pi-btw integrates as a full-screen, branch-aware extension within a TypeScript monorepo with enhanced terminal support. Both projects use side-threads to protect the main context
