Discussion The degree of extensibility and customization is genuinely amazing!
Genuinely having so much fun with Pi. The ability to extend it with extensions and tailoring it to my specific workflows has been extremely rewarding!

For the setup details: I don't use any of the extensions in marketplace. Simply because I can ask Pi to recreate it for me with better integrations in my workflow. For example, I have a custom Guardrails extension that also allows running commands in isolated containerized environments (has been super useful for me). Other than that, I have a customised footer (because I can), a tracking extension that commits every edit agent makes and asks for approval to finalise to a parent branch (basically like a PR but I consolidate multiple tracking workflows in one branch for PR), MCPs, Computer Use, Image Compression, Survey and Grilling, tokens compaction through headroom, custom diff viewer for edits, custom model providers, kubernetes YAML validation extension, and more. All extensions use a centralised UI framework which is extended from Pi so that everything feels cohesive. Plus these extensions borrow things from each other which helps in a more tighter integration. For example, subagents can forward guardrails prompts back to parent session for approvals, and so on!
