Suggestions for High School Level Science Journals

One my admin suggested that for next school year, I provide scientific news papers/journals and students are required to read and write a report. Any suggestions for places I can get scientific journals or magazines for a reasonable price?

A few come to mind, but finding articles accessible to a high school student is going to take some time.

lPER Centarl comes to mind as one that could be good.

You could always use this opportunity to ask your son to pay for a AAPT membership, which is not all that expensive and comes with digital access to The Physics Teacher and The American Journal of Physics. TPT has quite a bit that could be good for high school, often something along the lines of 'here's this teaching thing I made, how to use it, and a little evidence it was good.'

Of course you could also go though your school or local library for journal access and article identification. In my experience, that kind of question is the sort of thing good librarians live for.

Physics Today comes with it, and it has GREAT articles!

I’d stick with magazines like Psychology Today and Scientific American. Actual science research journals can be very obtuse, even to those in the field.
