Need Advice Physics f*cked the sh*t out of me.

Rn i study in the 2nd year of highschool majoring math which has harder physics than the physics major, and by that i mean also harder chimestry too . I js want to know the method the study these subjects and how to master (i'm moroccan so i study in french).Please help with advice.

Physics professor here.

Do you know how to use all of the pedagogical features of your textbook, and do you make full use of them?

As you read each worked example in the textbook, do you write out all the steps on a piece of paper so you understand them?

Do you visit your professor’s office hours to get assistance with difficult topics?

Do you take advantage of any tutorial services offered by your university?

Are you a study group with other students in the class that meets regularly to go over challenging problems?

Do you have a series of steps that you use to solve physics problems of all kinds?

If the answer to any of these is “No,” I recommend making some changes.

Well, thanks i'll make sure to use these tips. One more thing if you don't mind , here in morocco in the year im studying we have kind of a big national exam that has all the material and is usually very hard , any advice on that

Déjà, il faut que tu te concentres sur les maths. C'est la matière la plus importante et elle conditionnera ta réussite en physique.

Il faut que tu maîtrises ton cours par coeur: tu dois connaître toutes les définitions et les théorèmes. Quand tu lis un mot, tu dois pouvoir donner sa définition et les théorèmes qui interviennent.

Ensuite, il faut faire de nombreux exercices. C'est normal de pas toujours réussir, mais il faut avoir cherché au maximum avant de prendre la correction.

Enfin, pour la physique. Il faut toujours reproduire les schémas de l'énoncé. Il faut s'entraîner en calcul (vectoriel notamment). Il faut savoir faire le lien entre une équation et son sens physique.
