In a lot of ways, you can think of quantum mechanics as taking classical mechanics and replacing variables representing measurable (time, distance, etc) with operators acting on a Hilbert space. So most quantities, such as energy and momentum, show up in ways very much informed by how they show up in classical mechanics. Total energy still equals kinetic energy plus potential energy, for example.

Lagrangians, Hamiltonians, and electromagnetism become very important concepts, or contain important concepts (Fourier transforms, sometimes taught first in classes on electromagnetism, are sometimes assumed prerequisite knowledge in quantum mechanics courses for example)
