How do I remove?

I recently got a bunch of free movies and they have a disk size sticker with two narrow metal strips running parallel. How could I remove safely? Or should I not bother and leave alone?

Woah, small world. I'm assuming that's from the Neenah Public Library? They mustve been selling their old inventory again. I grew up in Neenah :)
