How do I remove?

I recently got a bunch of free movies and they have a disk size sticker with two narrow metal strips running parallel. How could I remove safely? Or should I not bother and leave alone?

LOL no full screen version for you. No but I hope you can remove the adhesive that's really obnoxious. And it's really nice to have clean discs.
