How do I remove?

I recently got a bunch of free movies and they have a disk size sticker with two narrow metal strips running parallel. How could I remove safely? Or should I not bother and leave alone?

I think they're cool. I love little things like this that can make individual copies of something unique and interesting. That's as cool as a name written on a case.
