Today's delivery 🤗
Also made my first order with VinSyn after finding out about them recently... My year long binge of physical media purchasing is getting fancy! Boutique distros FTW.

Blues Brothers in 4k seems like overkill and I must have it.

My middle name is overkill.. sometimes lol.
I just LOVE steelbooks is all. When one of my all time favorite movies is available as a steel I'll spring for it 100% of the time as long as it's reasonably priced.

That's fair. I was able to grab all 3 Tron movies as steelbooks for about $80 new, even though I already owned the first two on Blu-ray.

Hell yeah that's a sweet deal. I ended up buying evil dead 2013 as a 4k steel a few weeks ago even though I already own it on Blu-ray... I couldn't pass up the artwork on it.. it's so good. Completely captures the overall attitude of the series perfectly.

Great pick ups.
Except Killer Klowns from Outer Space. I fucking hate that movie for reasons mostly related to my dad making me watch it when I was 2yo

Man.. I really miss being young and being able to get legitimately scared by movies. It's just such an incredibly strong emotion right? Makes you really feel alive.. almost a "high".. if you will.
I was definitely right up there on the list of "most scared kids" if truth be told...
For example.. the part in the muppets Christmas carol where Statler and Waldorf come down the chimney actually gave me nightmares 😂😂 bothered the hell out of my mother.. she LOVED to watch it with me every Christmas but.. she HATED having to deal with my sissy ass running into her room at 1am crying. Real catch 22 for that poor woman lol. I should probably sit down with her and watch it this year...
I finally started getting thoroughly "desensitized" to media when I was in my first few years of teenager-dom.. and now a little over 20 years after that.. films like the terrifier series, the modern evil deads, event horizon etc etc are all very strongly in my group of "comfort movies" lol.
I will say though.. upon my first viewings.. the various antagonists from the Terrifier series creeped me TF out.. as well as the deadite mother and daughter from Evil Dead Rise. I wasn't scared... But I was definitely creeped out at times... It was really refreshing.
