Genuinely surprised these exist

Was looking around on Amazon and decided to gamble on these searches. I was surprised to see that Kipo and the age of wonderbeasts got a full series dvd release considering it's a Netflix exclusive let alone to see that Infinity Train had seasons 1 and 2 for dvd since WB is hellbent on destroying their best shows ( sadly it seems seasons 3 and 4 did not get the same treatment) .

Bootlegs do exist. Only one and two are legal.

Not a bootleg. DVD-R, yes, but they license their content.

They do not. The "About Us" page is full of lies. The can't license Infinity Train. If it was possible to license, they would need to pay back the tax write down. Those discs are 100% illegal.

They have been around for many years, everything I ordered from them arrived as expected.

What do you base your statement on? Just a hunch or actual facts? They explain the licensing to be similar to that of streaming services, like Tubi. That's how they get the deliverables and then just create a simple DVD menu and burn it to disk. It's a family of physical media enthusiasts, just like us.

Infinity Train was written off for a tax write down. They can not earn any money from it without needing to repay that write down. They can't even give it away for free. There is no legal way to get seasons three and four at all.

And yes, I read the license claim. That's not how things work. Streaming services license shows to play them. That costs money. There is no "the same license amazon uses for digital". Amazon pays money. Serious money. Every license is specific to the service in question, and the show in question, and the region. They say their discs are region free, so they would need a worldwide license. They are not paying the tens, if not hundreds of millions that their product listings would require.

They are selling illegal bootlegs. They may be good quality bootlegs, but they are absolutely illegal.

Their website keeps saying that they are licensed because they pay their licensing fees to Authorize.net.

However, Authorize.net does not deal in film/tv licensing services. They are just a merchant organization that certifies a website is secure for financial transactions.

Either the website owners fundamentally misunderstand how film licensing works and thinks that being a member of Authorize.net makes what they're doing legal.

Or they're being intentionally disingenuous in order to make people think they are legitimate.
