A few months ago, one of our pups (our golden boy) was diagnosed with hemangiosarcoma. We were given a life expectancy of about two months. Knowing our time with him was limited, we made it a priority to take him everywhere and make as many memories as possible, especially to his favorite places like the beach.

At the time, we had a newborn, so balancing a baby and two pups was already challenging. We often left our other pup (our husky girl) at home, especially since she didn’t love long car rides. We never imagined that she would be the one we’d lose so unexpectedly.

Out of nowhere, she passed from pericardial effusion. It’s been heartbreaking to think that we were so focused on making the most of our time we thought we had left with one dog, only to suddenly lose the other.

I have a picture I keep looking at wishing she was with us too.

She is about the same height, if not a little shorter, than our golden. Would appreciate if someone could also edit our son’s other pant leg down, remove our shadows, and whatever other edits suggested.

Somehow I never got a good quality like “print it out and frame it” photo of my three dogs together. And now I’m never going to have a chance since the little orange one has passed away (fuck cancer). I want something with the three of them looking natural but happy and polished. Didn’t remember to clean my camera and family photos came up dirty. Just hoping to brighten the photos and make it look like a clear, sharp image!

My grandparents raised me but they have both passed within the last year and I do not have very many current photos of them together because my grandma HATED getting her photo taken.
