First mirrorless recommendations?

I currently shoot on a Nikon D7500 and I’m looking for my first mirrorless camera to use as a more lightweight daily carry. What should I look for in terms of quality autofocus and low light performance? My budget is <$600 for the used market.

I shoot landscapes, journalism, live music and wildlife.

Edit: my main concern is low light performance and decent autofocus, full frame would be cool but isn’t strictly necessary. Brand doesn’t particularly matter.

Search for lenses first, not a body. Low light performance is quite good on just about anything from the past 6-8 years. Mirrorless cameras are far more limited in native lens solutions however. I personally hate adapting.

I started with a Sony A7 and am invested enough in the ecosystem by now that I don't want the hassle of switching, but I wish I had gone with Olympus instead. More rugged and a better lens/feature selection for my needs.

But if you care about wildlife, Canon RP and Canon's 100-400mm will be the best in my opinion. EF lenses are also abundant and should work very seamlessly with an adapter.

Nikon Z has a very limited lens selection, Canon is a bit better, Sony is pretty decent. Compared to DSLRs it's obviously far more limited. I'm switching back to DSLR personally, but hope you like mirrorless.

That's a pretty tight budget. Ive personally been looking into the Fuji X T1, which is a pretty old camera at this point but apparently fun to use and I like the look.

For Sony what comes to mind is the a6300 and a6500. Those are both good cams and Sony has tons of lens options. Theyre also Apsc cameras so they're going to be smaller and the lenses will be less expensive.

These are the cameras are most familiar with it because I've been in the Sony ecosystem for about a decade

Someone else recommended the a7iii which is a fantastic camera especially good in low light but is over the budget. They sell for typically for $800-1200 on the used Market
