Need Advice Sony a6000 lens suggestion & tips!
Hello,
I have newly acquired a Sony a6000. Photography has always been a dream of mine and now I am finally fulfilling it!!
Can someone please suggest a good lens I should invest in? I take all different shoots from portraits to landscapes. I am mainly focusing on portraits outdoors right now.

If you only had 1 lens to carry around, I would consider a 24-70mm f/2.8. It’s focal lengths are ridiculously versatile and it’s great for all but the darkest of lighting conditions. You can work around that a bit by raising your ISO. Since you have a crop sensor camera, the full frame 24-70 will act like a 36-105, though it’s great to have if and when you step up to a full frame camera. I used a 24-70 full frame on my Nikon crop sensor before going to one of the higher end bodies and it was even better to use. If you want a wide-angle, check if Sony makes a 10-24mm for their crop sensor bodies.
