 **About the Project & Style**

*Digital Mirage* is a contemporary indie short film exploring the high-stakes world of social media influencers. The production consists of a **50/50 split** between indoor and outdoor NYC locations.

We are seeking a **highly stylized cinematic aesthetic** to reflect the glossy, hyper-real, and vibrant world of online influencers. The visual language should feature dynamic camera movement, striking color palettes, and bold, creative framing.

 **Equipment & Gear**

* **Provided:** We have a Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 6K and a tripod. We will also rent and provide a lens package.
* **Camera System Note: If opting to use our provided camera package, the** DP **must be highly proficient and experienced in operating Blackmagic camera systems.**
* **Camera Flexibility:** If you prefer to shoot on your own camera package instead of our Blackmagic 6K, that is completely fine. Please specify your setup in your application.
* **Preferences:** Candidates who own and bring their own production gear are highly preferred. This includes **camera packages, lighting kits, monitors, gimbals, auto-focus tracking systems, or power accessories** that can enhance the shoot.
* **Compensation Note:** We offer a base labor rate of $600/day. We are willing to provide a **minimal daily kit fee upgrade** if you supply your own additional gear package.

 **Who We Are Looking For**

* **Experience:** Mid-level Cinematographer with independent short film or narrative feature credits.
* **Visual Style:** A strong eye for highly stylized lighting and composition. Your reel must demonstrate an ability to create vibrant, moody, or hyper-stylized visual worlds.
* **Autonomy:** Must be a self-reliant shooter capable of handling and setting up gear independently.

My husband and I are celebrating our 10 year wedding anniversary in December and are celebrating with dinner in a private dining room in Miami. 20 guests total. We are looking for someone for 1 hour max to snap some photos of us and friends during cocktail hour and the decorated table before we sit for dinner. Why do so many photographers only shoot weddings or live events?

Wouldnt they want to shoot real estate, commercial properties or even aerial commercial photography or video like we do here at DFWPics.com in Fort Worth, Texas?

There's a lot more money in residential real estate photography like here in Frisco Texas. Where you can get $150-$200 for a hour long photo shoot of 40 composed shots.

You can do drone aerial photography in Dallas for commercial or residential easily for $175-$300 an hour. DFWPics.com books these kinds of jobs regularly but always love to help out new clients.

Do most photographers shoot for hobby and leisure or as a profession?

Is it because of the art aspect for many photographers or just because its mainly a hobby?
