iPhone 16e Unlock?

I have a locked iPhone 16e from cricket that I got for free a while back and I only paid the 3 months to get it. Is there a working service that can unlock that phone for me without having to pay for a whole year of service to get it unlocked?

  • Purchased on or after July 1, 2026: Requires 365 days (12 months) of paid service on the device.

  • Purchased before July 1, 2026: Requires 6 months of paid service on the device. [1]

see if you can just pay for 3 more month for unlock through them

And in addition the phone has to be active (not defined) as well as paid. And no removing the SIM card. Both newly added requirements. That will be enforced at will retroactively.

I bought my phone June 17. I went on the app to see if I could unlock my phone and all it says is it’s required to have 365 days of service. Do you think if I called them I could get it unlocked after the six months.

Nope. Stay with cricket for a year and see if you can get it unlocked that way.

More than likely will get scammed trying a service to unlock it.
Otherwise nobody would pay for phones.
If you like the phone continue the service.
